The responsibility placed on players is demanding and unfavorable, burdening those who fulfill it without help. Still, players are never left without help as they have a number of allies to help them on their journey.

terrariumscontains many unique characters known as NPCs - constant patrons who will help players through all their trials and tribulations, as long as they have a home. The game features dozens of NPCs with different personalities, tastes, and purposes that players benefit from. As they are a predominant part of the game, players should understand everything there is to know about NPCs. So every NPC is hereterrariums- and how to create them.
Housing and Happiness
NPCs have their respective spawn requirements, but most share housing needs. Even naturally spawning NPCs like the guide need a house if they die to not respawn. As such, players must ensure they have enough houses for current and future NPCs and make sure they are suitable.
There are several requirements for a house to be considered suitable; It must be at least 60 tiles in size and consist of a roof, floor, walls, back walls, light sources, flat surface furniture and comfort furniture. Also, a house is not viable if it is nearby or in an evil biome, e.g. B. the Corrupt and the Crimson.
Another important consideration for most NPCs is their happiness - the measure of their happiness or dissatisfaction, which is affected by their environment. Each NPC has biome and neighbor preferences that dramatically affect their mood and attitude towards players, along with the benefits and services they provide.
NPCs' happiness can cause the prices of their services to go up or down and can affect their stocks when selling items. The happier an NPC is, the more affordable their prices become and the more supplies they offer. The guide provides players with various tips for progressing through the game, and provides crafting recipes for any item presented to him, as long as it is a material. The nurse
The Nurse is one of the first NPCs players will encounter during their humble beginnings in the world. Despite being a bit scary, rude, and downright mean, she remains a useful character throughout the game.

He is a mysterious and foreboding older man who bears an uncanny resemblance to a certain NPC in town. The Elder serves the sole purpose of summoning Skeletron,a skeletal boss and gatekeeper of the labyrinthine dungeon. He cannot live in a house, but resides in the dungeon, where he will remain until he is freed from his curse and returned to semi-normal.

The Skeleton Merchant
The Skeleton Merchant is a unique NPC that players can encounter while exploring the world. He is an unusual and profitable skeleton boy who shuns the bloodthirsty tendencies of others of his kind. The Skeleton Merchant sells various tools and items, many of which are related to yo-yos and caving. He cannot live in a house, as he only roams the vast underground cave systems in search of valuables.
